2.0 out of 5 stars マニュアルが不親切すぎて入門者にはかなりきつい, 2005/7/7
商品箱には「入門者向けの書籍を同梱」と書いてますが、同梱の本には「Visual c++」の初歩的な使い方さえ掲載しておらず、「c++」の概要について触り程度にしか書いてません。（おまけに専門用語を何の説明もなくいきなり連発してるので、「入門者向け」とは言いがたいです。）

このソフトを使用するための最低限のチュートリアルも無く、ソフトの使い方を知らない人は結局膨大な量のヘルプファイルの中から必要な情報を探しながら使い方を学習していく事になりますが、このヘルプファイルは「説明が細切れすぎ＆図解無し＆必要な情報を探しにくい」の三重苦で、非常に読みにくいです。

このソフトの最低限の使い方を書いた入門者向けの書籍もあわせて購入しないと、いきなりこのソフトだけ買っても途方にくれるだけでしょう。

Standard版といえども、SOAP等にも対応し、VC++6から大きく発展しています。企業間を接続するエンタープライズソリューションを手軽なウイザードで簡単にテンプレートを作り出してくれます。.netの名を冠していますが、それ以外の機能もより豊かに作りこまれています。1998年のリリースから5年間沈黙の答えが、C++はまだ遺産言語ではない、という事を証明してくれています。オープンソース系との親和性も良くコマンドライン上で滝のように流れるログファイルからも開放してくれます。今バイトコンパイルされた言語があたかもメインストリームのように錯覚しているのは環境が改善されてギガヘルツ帯のクロックでCPUが駆動されるからであって、ネィティブコードでなければ得られないパフォーマンスは依然として誇るべきだと思います。
