一歩が千堂からベルトを取ったタイトルマッチはダイジェストで紹介し、メインとなる、初防衛戦までの一歩を描いています。

特典映像は、ゲストキャラの設定画、ノンクレジットエンディング映像、プロモーション映像となっています。

音声も5.1ｃｈと2ｃｈの2パターン収録されおり、シアターシステムなどにつないで、5.1ｃｈの迫力サウンドで視聴すると、あたかも後楽園ホールで試合を見ているような臨場感が得られると思います。

自分は本誌でこの漫画を読んでいるのですが、
やはり動くアニメと漫画では比べ物にならない迫力がありますね。
キャラクターの動き、汗や鼓動、パンチが決まった時の音、
すべてが本物のボクシング試合のようです。

一歩負けるな！とあなたも叫んでしまうはずです。

アニメがあまり好きではない自分でも手に汗握る程、興奮しました。
アニメを毛嫌いしてる人でも楽しめます。

テレビ放映時に回を追うごとに精錬されていった試合時の表現。
その集大成。絵の書き込み。ＳＥ。間。そのどれにも脱帽。
体の重心の移動や、しなり。凄いです。

原作を知っている人は勿論。知らない人でも。更には、ボクシングに
さして興味が無い人でも楽しめる。クオリティの非常に高い
作品なのではないかと思います。
