   メンバー4人全員が神戸出身のガガガSPの2003年第1弾シングルは、フラワーソウルユニオンの中川敬とヒートウエィブの山口洋という、日本を代表するロック・アーティストふたりによる共作曲のカヴァー。1995年におきた阪神淡路大震災を題材にしたこの曲を8年後にカヴァーして、しかもそれをシングル曲としてリリースする彼ら行動には、実際に体験したものでないとわからない真摯（しんし）な心情を感じざるをえない。一直線につきすすむシンプル＆ダイレクトなパンク・チューンと化した<1>は、あの天災に対する、彼らなりの“回答”なのだろう。（森 朋之）

神戸発の人気バンドが、「震災から8年経った俺らの今」を真っ向から歌った作品。特別強くも、弱くもない。そこにはただ、ガラッパチでピュアな歌と、今を生きる人間の思いがある。なお表題曲は、震災直後に作られたソウル・フラワー・ユニオンの名曲。

ソウルフラワーユニオンの「満月の夕」をカバーした
って聞いて、某CD屋で試聴したんだけど最初は「単に
速く唄っているだけなんとちゃうの？」って思ってた。

でも、震災を体験している私にとっては泣けるものが
あった。

「あの震災は忘れへんでっ」って感じで叫んでたなぁ。

その言葉にじ~んと来て、もし周りに誰もいなかったら
泣いてたかも。

それぐらい感慨深いものがありましたね。

ガガガSPの曲には毎回驚かされます。歌唱力はともかく・・・ストレートに心まで伝わるその歌詞にです。今回の曲｢満月の夕」もその１つ。皆さん、ぜひ聴いてみてください。曲を聴き終わった後、きっと心に残る何かがあるはずです。
