very best of songs・・・を全曲聴いてみて改めてメロディーが綺麗で歌声が優しくって自分の気持ちまで優しくなれる感じがしてじ~んとしてしまいました・・・
Sugar Lady（ballad version）はぐわぁ~んと包み込むような歌声とメロディーに心洗われます！
一度手にとって聴いて見てください、何かが変わるかもしれません。

97年と、2001年からのソロ活動に出した作品を集めた、河村隆一初のベストアルバム。

「Glass」や「Love is…」、「静かな夜は〜」などのこれぞ!といったものから、「ジュリア」、「君の前で〜」といったポップなものまで。そしてこのアルバムのみ収録の「Sugar Lady」バラードバージョン、これ良いですよ♪

ソロでは、何年経っても色褪せないスタンダードを目指しているそうで、変に凝らない曲達は年月だけでなく世代や性別も越え、あらゆる人に聴いてもらえると思います。

DVDは「Glass」「BEAT」「Ne」「Sugar Lady」のPVが収録されています。個人的にはLove is…のPVが見たかったですね…。
GlassのPVは目で殺されます(笑)。

世間的にはナルシストキャラとして有名ですが、それは彼が見せる顔のほんの一部でしかないです。(実際はいうほどでもないですし)。凄く礼儀正しいかと思ったら人を笑わせたり。ちょっと天然気味。底が深い。…彼は本当に色んな顔を持っているな、と感じます。
何故こんな事言うのかというと、キャラを決めつけて聴かず嫌いは非常に勿体無いからです。やっぱり声を聴いて欲しい。歌っている時こそ、彼が最高に輝く時。他の誰も代われない、唯一無二のボーカリストです☆

苦手な人も是非このアルバムを聞いて、彼の人となりに触れてみてください!
そして、オリジナルアルバムもオススメします。さらに、良いですよ☆

河村隆一さんの音楽センスと才能には、脱帽です。
今回は、人間失格に続くアルバムですが、自身の自信作の中から選ばれた
曲でまとめられ尚且つドラマだけと言う事で作られたシュガーレディーのバラードが特別ファンのリクエストにより入ってすばらし仕上がりになってると思います。透き通る声いつまでも心に残る作品です。
