1.君なら大丈夫だよ
デビュー曲。
愛らしい曲です。

5.失格
彼女の代表曲。
インパクトがある曲ですので,
最初にこれを聞いてファンになった方も多いはず。

6.バニラ
この曲も失格同様勢いのある曲。
彼女が最もノリに乗っていた頃の今日です。

8.太陽
「ねえどうかあなた死なないで
何でもいいから生きていて」
詩が痛ましい。
浅間山荘事件でもこの詩を聴いたような気がする。
社会へのメッセージ性が感じられる。

10.上海バンドネオン
なんだか不倫の曲っぽい。
ちょっとエッチな感じがいい。
上海の雰囲気を醸し出すことに成功している。

上記のように多くの優れた曲を収録しているので，
お勧めの一枚となっている。

橘いずみのこのベスト盤、ソニー時代の彼女の代表的な曲が網羅されている究極の一枚！
１０年前にデビューして、「失格」「バニラ」「サルのうた」「太陽」などの大ヒットを飛ばしたのに、
気がつくと、マニアックなファン（失礼！）が聞くシンガーになってきてしまった。
先にあげたヒット曲も今探そうとすると、大元では廃盤、ＣＤ屋でも手に入らなくなってしまった。
そこにこの一枚！
これらの曲を聴かずして橘いずみを聞いたことにはなるまい！
終曲の「ＷＩＮＤＯＷ」も好きな曲である。この曲を聴いて、時の流れを感じたのももう４，５年前になるのかなぁ。
いいものはいつ聞いても良い　と言うアルバムである。
