インディーズ時代から注目を集めていた女性シンガー・ソングライター、天野月子のメジャー・デビュー・アルバム。ジャケットのかぐや姫(?)ルックがいいですね。本人のイメージにピッタリではありませぬか。幼少のみぎりより“表現者”としての自覚があったという天野嬢は音楽のみならず、手がけてきた表現方法は絵画、演劇や詩作と幅広い。以前にウルトラ怪獣の造形作家の展覧会に出かけたときにも思ったが、やはり表現者はもう表現せずにはいられないのだ。ポップでこなれたソングライティング、激情系ながらよくコントロールされたヴォーカル、そしてハード・エッジで卓越したバッキングと、やはりどうしても、活動を再開したあの方を連想させずにはおれない。でも、それは表層的なこと。インディーズ時代があるとはいえ、初のフル・アルバムでこの世界観はやはり凄い。名曲ロックのフレーズがバンバン飛び出す「Butter Fingers」のギンギンなロック魂はオジさま族にもアピールするであろう。 (杉山達) --- 2002年06月号

三、四年前にジャケ買いしました。
…凄い衝撃でした!
全作詞曲を自ら手掛けていますが、捨て曲など皆無です。
作詞曲の能力はかなり高いように思います。
また歌唱力も裏声が少し弱い気もしますが、素晴らしいですね。
迫力が結構あります!
女性ロックが好きな方は絶対聴くべきです。
ジャケのデザインから楽曲まで、非常にクオリティは高いです。
出来れば、購入をオススメします♪

割とクセのあるアーティストというイメージもあるかもしれませんが、
この一枚は誰にでもオススメしたくなる一枚です。
前面に押し出されたとことん激しいけれど耳にうるさくないギター音と、
よく通る女性らしさの中にもどこかある種の男気みたいなものを感じる声。
それから歌詞を曲にのっけていく調子とかが全て合わさって気持ちいい！

内容としては結構ダークなものからポップでガーリィなものまであり、
最後に来るカメリアはまさに泣きの一曲です。
また曲目にはありませんがボーナストラックもついて計12曲。
天野月子入門書ともいえるアルバムだと思います。買って損は無しかと！

和風ロックここに見参！です。

初めはジャケットのかぐや姫な写真を見て『ちょっと妖しい…』と思ったのですが(笑)、聴いてみてビックリ！かなりお気に入りで、１日に最低でも３回は聴いています！しかも聴きながら、大声で歌っています(笑)。女性ボーカリストで好きなのは宇多田ヒカルと椎名林檎なのですが、それ以来のヒットです！デビュー曲でもある『菩提樹』が１曲目から印象的で、ポップな感じの曲から切ないメロディまで、何回聴いても飽きません！皆さんも一度、つっこワールドに足を踏み入れてはみませんか？きっと、抜け出れなくなること間違いなしですよ！
