デジタルポップスから抜け出して、濃密かつ良質なポップスアルバムに仕上がっている。女の子というよりも、女性らしい強さと言える。メロディと歌詞がバランス良く絡んでいて（つまり歌詞に対して無理の無いメロディ）、代表曲の一つ（だと私が思う）「笑顔で愛してる」から、アンプラグド系の「うれしいひとこと」まで、以前のような突飛な曲は無いが、通して聴いたほうが良いアルバムだと思う。全体に抑えた感じがする。これは秋に発売されたことも影響しているのだろう。#9「ダイエットゴーゴー」のVideo Clipは相変わらずの過剰サービスで非常にコミカル。一見の価値あり。

和製女性ポップスとしてはかなりの作曲の才のある彼女。これはめちゃめちゃわかりやくした形のもの。ちょいとださいラインを狙い、確かテレビ出演もしていたね。このひとの本質は、エディーリーダーのようなボヘミアン感覚なのに、規格品的に作らせてはいかんね。日本の音楽リリースサイクルでは確実に摩滅してしまう人材だ。おすすめはやはり１０）うれしいひとこと　につきる、ちょいとセンチなポップが彼女の持ち味だ。へんなディスコは似合わない。これは彼女の鋭い歌詞と見事なメロディーが組み合わさった作品である。
