倖田來未の最初の印象はセクシーだなぁ、ということぐらいしかなかった。しかし最近になってよく曲を耳にし、気になってこのファーストアルバムを今更ながら聴いてみました。感想は、凄いっ！めちゃくちゃいいじゃないですかっ。このアルバムが発売された頃、倖田來未はまだ十代。信じられません。こんな凄い歌手がいたなんて。もっと早く聴いとけばよかった。とにかくこの迫力ある歌唱力に圧倒されます。
聴いてると知ってる曲が何曲かありました。「COLOR OF SOUL」、「So Into You」、「TAKE BACK」など。アルバム全体をみてもどの曲も素晴らしい。「come back」などのバラードも聴き惚れてしまいます。
これは是非聴いてみてほしい名盤です。

自分は倖田さんの存在を知ったのはreal emotionからなんですけど、
最近このアルバムを聞いてみて、かなり良い出来なんじゃないかと思います。シングルもいい曲だと思いますが、特にGo togetherやWalk,come backといった曲はアルバム収録にしておくにはもったいない位の名曲です。是非聞いてみてはいかが？
今はエロ路線に行ってて、露出してるから売れてるとかそういう声も
ありますが、歌唱力や曲は素晴らしいと思います。露出しなくても彼女くらい歌上手ければそれだけで十分やっていけると思っているのは自分だけでしょうか？

倖田來未がビルボードを震撼させた事実よりも、彼女がどれだけアーティストとしての魅力があるかどうかを、まずは知るための登竜門。45人の倖田來未（45パートのコーラスを担当）を堪能できるアカペラ「Best Friend Of Mine」しかり、どんなジャンルの楽曲でも歌いこなす、小さな巨人。一見、どこにでもいそうな女性アーティスト、なんて先入観を払拭できる、表現力豊かな倖田來未に圧倒されるアルバムでありました。
