   低価格でありながら、ゲームとしての本質を外さない「SIMPLE」シリーズ。際立った演出やムービーを極力なくし、さまざまなコストを下げることによって、ユーザーへ値段という形でフィードバックしている本シリーズの存在は大きい。

   そのシリーズ第79番目となるのが本作品である。『四川省』というゲームは、同じ絵柄の麻雀牌を線で結ぶことによってその牌が消され、最終的に場にあるすべての牌を消していくパズルゲームである。ただし、他の牌に重なっている牌や、直線または2回までの90度カーブで結べない牌は、消すことができないという制限のもと、非常にシンプルなルール構成となっている。

   初めて遊ぶ人向けには優しい配置の「イージーモード」、ステージクリアまでのタイムアタックでランクインを目指す「ノーマルモード」が用意され、全ステージをクリアすれば新しいモードが追加される。（樋口浩二）

上海と並ぶ、麻雀牌をつかったお馴染みのパズルゲームです。どのハードで発売されようと基本的な面白さを持っているゲームなので、それなりに遊べるのではないでしょうか。ゲームモードが少ないのはシンプルシリーズということなので、仕方がないところでしょう。このゲームのファンとしては隠しモードは嬉しい限りです。かなり楽しめました。
