全編通して苦労の多かったタケル。地球編は苦痛の声ばかりで見ていてつらかった。
（制作スタッフも相当苦しんで作っていたとか。全編通してスケジュールがかなりハードだったそうです。）

３部では画面の作りががらっと変わり、特殊効果をかなり使っています。今、こんなに透過光を使うケースは無いのでは？重い話にも関わらず光を多様しているので暗く感じません。

タケルと育ての母”明神静子”との親子の絆がはっきりと描かれているのが印象的。

死の世界を支配するズールのよって兄・マーグも苦しんでいた。それでも遠く離れた弟を励まし、助け最後まで尽くすマーグ。最後は旅立つ２人を見守る姿が感動的です。
