　さてこの巻の見所です。
　なんといってもフォウ・ムラサメ完結編ということでしょう。「Z」特筆のエピソードです。
　最後にはカミーユをジェリドの攻撃をかばいフォウは散ってしまいます。(先の「ジェリド特攻」、マウァーのエピソードのまったくの逆になってしまっています。この二人の憎みあいはとどまるところを知りません)　最後にカミーユがフォウを抱きかかえている姿がとても印象的でした。「Z」は悲しいエピソードが多すぎますね。ラストもさらに壮絶な戦いが続きます。この反動で「ZZ」は明るい作品になった気もしますね。
　オマケとしてこの巻でついにセイラさんが登場。どうもアムロ・レイのような生活を余儀なくされているらしい。台詞の無いのがさびしいところです。
　さらに最後の「レコアの気配」でティターンズのガディ艦長(アレキサンドリア)の名言。「シロッコに付き合うと妙な奴ばかりくっつく」あなたの気持ちはわかります。

１０巻は、『Zガンダム』におけるヒロイン的存在であったフォウ・ムラサメがメインの作品となっている。フォウの戦死、シャアのダカール演説など、有名なシーンが収録されているので全１３巻の中でも見所の多い１枚である。☆は問題なく５つ。『１ｓｔ』の内容を十分に理解している方は、カミーユではなく、アムロとシャアの視点から物語を捉えることになると思う。

フォウとの戦いを拒むカミーユに、「戦いの中で人を救う方法もあるはずだ」とシャアは叫ぶが、そんな方法などあるはずもない。アムロの攻撃から身を挺してシャアを守ったララァのように、ジェリドの攻撃からカミーユを守るためにフォウは命を落とすことになる。アムロ、カミーユ、シャアという優秀なニュータイプが揃っていながら最悪の事態を回避することはできなかった。戦闘では驚異的な戦闘力を発揮するニュータイプも万能ではない。「人は同じ過ちを繰り返す」というアムロの言葉が示すように、戦争を起こす理由に違いがあっても、戦争によって引き起こされる悲劇はどれも似たようなものだ。正しい世界を築くため、自分たちの社会を守るため、より良い未来を開くため、いろいろな理由で人は争うが、そこで行われるのはただの殺人という行為でしかない。戦うことの愚かさ、虚しさが、痛々しいほどに伝わってくる１本であった。

私は、ジェリドの「力があってこそ全てを制するんだ！」という台詞が間違いだとは思わない。何かを制するとき、何かを変えるときに力が必要なのは当然だろう。だが、ティターンズには力しかなかった。ジェリドは力もなく、さらに運もなかった。これでは何も制することなどできない。無理に支配しようとすれば摩擦が生じ、火花が散ることは避けられない。戦争が起こるのも当然といえる。今更ながら、『Zガンダム』のストーリーはよくできてるなぁ~、と感じずにいられない内容だった。

　このディスク最大の目玉は、やはり第36話「永遠のフォウ」。主人公カミーユの最愛の人、フォウ・ムラサメの最期が描かれる。その瞬間に立ち会ったアムロとシャアは呟く。「同じか……」。「同じ」悲劇を目撃したシャアは決意し、素性を明かして、地球連邦政府議会で演説をする。（第37話）

　シャアのシリーズ最大の見せ場だったが、作画レベルが著しく劣り、ファンをガッカリさせる。36話と次の第38話の作画レベルが飛び抜けて高いだけに、余計目立つ。星の減点分はそれに尽きる。
