活字中毒な大英図書館特殊工作員―読子・リードマンのアクション冒険活劇。半端じゃない活字中毒ぶりが、私にはかなり面白かった。読子が本屋で本を買いあさり、道端で顔を紅潮させながら読んでしまうところとか。

原作は少ししか読んでいないが、読子を演じる三浦理恵子さんの声はとても合っていたと思う。原作イメージを損なうことなく、すんなりと入ることができた。ていうか、三浦さんがこんなに上手に声優さんできるなんて･･･。ほんとに素敵なお声でしたｖｖ

この作品、実は業界では発売前からすばらしいとの絶賛されまくり。私も実際、何十回とみているが、飽きのこないキャラクター、のりの良いＢＧＭ。精密に計算されたカメラワーク。どこをとってもすばらしいの一言に尽きる。小説を読んだ方も、そうでない方もぜひご覧になっていただきたい。今日のアニメ業界のレベルの高さが垣間見れると思われ、その世界にはまること間違いなし。もちろん、業界人は是が非でも見ておくべし。

このＤＶＤは同名の小説を元に映像に仕上げた作品である。主人公「読子・リードマン」が大英図書館の秘密工作部員として数々のアクションに巻き込まれていく、約３０分くらいの作品である。

　実はこのＤＶＤ、アニメ史上初かもしれない偉業に挑戦している。「文系アクション」というジャンルに挑戦し、「監督と原作者の音声による同時解説付き」というこれまでにない道を歩んでいる。 アニメ作品としては、「第一作目なので品質良し」「アクションよし」「オープニングがめっちゃ格好いい」というところである。

ストーリーは原作を見なくても解るようになっているが、なるべくなら読んでおくことをお勧めする。
