坂本真綾のサードアルバムは、これまでの儚げで壊れやすいイメージを刷新して、華やかで明るい側面が、より押し出されています。前作「ＤＩＶＥ」ほどのコンセプチュアルな構成にはなっていませんが、アップテンポな「マメシバ」からエモーショナルな迫力のアル「私は丘の上から花瓶を投げる」まで、その濃密な世界にひたれます。傑作。

このアルバムを購入したのは８年ほど前になりますが、今までこれ以上の作品に出会った
ことはありません。ポップスという枠を逸脱した感すらあり、ボーカルミュートでも１２曲
心地よく味わえます。本当に色んな美味しさが詰まっております。
ジャケットの真綾たんはすべすべしてます。良いです。

タイトルにとうもろこしを投げる、と付けましたがまさにその通りです。
初めて聴いた瞬間何かが外れ、とうもろこしを投げました。

名盤「DIVE」と違い、アップテンポの曲が多めですので、
朝から良し、昼下がり良し、会社帰り良し、お得です。
クッキーと紅茶さえあれば何度でも繰り返しイケます。
そこそこ盛り上がったところで「DIVE」→「30min」と落とすか、
「少年アリス」→「イージーリスニング」で余韻に浸るのも◯です。
ただし、このアルバムは「ニコパチ」「かぜよみ」との組み合わせによる連続視聴には向きません。
どの作品も単体としての出来が、そこらの捨て曲含みJPOP等の「それ」とは遥かにレベルが違いますので、
先ほど上にて挙げました組み合わせ以外で視聴される際は、アルバム単位でお楽しみ下さい。

最後に個人的なおすすめ曲ですが、

2. マメシバ 　（後半の押し寄せに息を呑みます）
5. 紅茶 　　　（切なさの中に温かい強さを感じます。まさに紅茶）
7. Life is good （心地よい音のテンポ、中盤での高揚感が最高潮！？）
9. Tシャツ 　　（繊細な音の上に織りなす、柔らかく強い気持ち、まさにTシャツ）
11. Rule~色褪せない日々 （ボランティアをしてもいいという気持ちになれる）
12. 私は丘の上から花瓶を投げる （ 私は屋根の上からとうもろこしを投げる）

世界に通用するアルバムです。

今まで出ているアルバムで１番好きだし、初めての坂本真綾作品でもあった。
真綾ちゃんを知ったのは、アルジュナのテーマソング「マメシバ」で。「マメシバだけでええや」みたいな軽い気持ちで聴いたんだけど、見事に捉えられましたよ。普段明るい曲は苦手であんまり聴かないんですが、真綾ちゃんの明るい曲だけは、好んで聴きます。それに「声優さんの曲だなんて・・・」って偏見を聴くまでは持ってたんですけど、聴いた後では「・・・そこいらのそこそこ有名な歌手よりめちゃくちゃええやんかぁ！！」って思い直したくらいです。声優で舞台俳優で歌手で。どれも中途半端じゃない事にとても驚きました。
