   川浜一のワルと呼ばれる大木が入学早々騒ぎを起こし、イソップが退学の危機を救う第7話『嵐の新学期』。県大会でかつてない大差で敗退、生まれ変わったラグビー部は猛練習を開始し、大木も入部する第8話『愛すればこそ』。部員を殴ったことから部員たちとの間に亀裂が入り悩む滝沢と、その和解までを描く第9話『愛ってなんだ』。第3巻では、この3話が収録されている。（田中 元）

川浜一のワルこと大木大介（松村雄基さん）とイソップこと奥寺浩が登場してきます。この２人とも、実在する人物で、スクールウォーズを語るのに欠かせないキャラクターです。♪風は一人で吹いている~という大木の「歌いながらパンチ」が見物です。相模一高との初対戦で１０９ｖｓ０という屈辱的な大敗を喫したシーンも収録されています。

名門、相模第一高等学校に109-0で負けた試合、「相手も同じ高校生、ゼロで負けて悔しくないのか！」「悔しいです！！」というシーン、誰にも熱い気持ちはあるし、闘争心も勝ちたい気持ちもあるということがよく分かり、感動します。先生の体を張った教育姿勢。演技やストーリーにクサいところはあるかもしれませんが、それでもいいです。

ラグビー部中心にストーリー展開されるようになる。
大木大助（松村雄基）の名シーン多数。

印象に残るシーン２つ
・大助がケンカをしてしまい、それが原因で母親が入院。
　賢治の妻節子（岡田奈々）に一渇されるシーン。
・ラグビー部を去ろうとする大助に失望したイソップが
　絶交を切り出し、うろたえる大助。

いずれも、大助の心理状態を象徴する名シーンで
反抗心の中に素直な姿を見せていると思えました。

松村雄基さんは抜群にカッコイイです。
これだけでも見る価値アリ！！
