   超人気グループに成長したモーニング娘。の全シングルを網羅した、お得なベスト盤。やはり福田明日香、石黒彩、市井沙耶香が在籍していたころのシングルが楽曲としては充実しており、2000年に新加入した4人を含む<5>と<6>はちょっと薄い印象を受けるが、好みは人それぞれ。しかし、<1><3><7>などのアレンジを担当した、ダンス☆マンは、やはりモー娘。と相性がいい。<13>とか<14>の代わりに、シングルにしか入ってない「ハッピーナイト」が入ってたらもっと良いベストアルバムになっていたのでは。（麻路 稔）

Essentially everything of note Morning Musume has done to date, Best! is a fun CD to listen to. Not for those who are serious or more adult about their music, but for people who can handle the unadultered happiness of the Musume-tachi, it is a great CD.

「愛の種」「モーニングコーヒー」から「恋愛レボリューション２１」までのシングル作品を集めたもの。アルバムの様な書き下ろしタイプの作品は含まれない。そのためかとても懐かしく、ほのぼの感が時々心をくすぐる。中澤裕子さんのいた時代までで４期メンバーが初々しくもありはつらつとした歌声を発揮している。１期から３期までのハーモニーとうまく重なった最高の時代の作品と言える。モー娘。として黄金時代を築き卒業を目前とした中澤裕子の声が一段とモー娘。の傑作を作りあげた。ＣＤでは聞き取れない繊細な音感までも表現しているＬＰレコードとしても発売された。まさにモーニング娘。の最高傑作である。
