新居昭乃さんのデビューアルバム。 アニメ映画「ウインダリア」の主題歌、挿入歌の「約束」と「美しい星」が収録されています。 「約束」は映画のバージョンとちょっと違ってて個人的には、もひとつなんですが、「美しい星」がもうめちゃくちゃいいです。きれいなメロディーにきれいな声。 初めて聴いたとき鳥肌がたってしまいました。

ぜひ一度聴いて見てください。

　一言でいって今の新居さんとは、かなり違う感じのアルバム。
　今のサウンドは凝りに凝っているとすれば、
「懐かしい未来」は８０年代ポップスでシンプル。
　新居さんの音程はどちらも完璧ですので、
評価はサウンドの好みによって分かれると思われます。
　ウィンダリアの主題歌「美しい星」、挿入歌「約束」を収録。

「美しい星」は今でもライブで演奏されています。珠玉の名曲。

デビューシングル「約束／美しい星」で昭乃さんの歌声の
洗礼を受けた世代にとっては、このアルバムで聞かれる
張りのあるヴォーカルの方が、どこかつかみどころの無い
最近のウィスパーヴォイスより好ましく響くかも知れません。

音的に多少古くともこのアルバムには、近作では聞くことの
ない、昭乃さんの生き生きとした伸びやかな歌声がある。
それだけで十分にオススメです。
特に３曲目。まるで鈴の転がるような歌声。
最近ファンになった方にも是非聞いていただきたい。
