出ました。私にとって最高傑作でもある本作はギタリストの腕を磨くための作品でもありました。楽曲の素晴らしさはもちろんのことサポート陣のソングライター、プレイヤー共に、気合の入り方が違う所が随所に聴けて本気でアーテイストＳＥＩＫＯを盛り上げている気がします。特にシングルナンバー「夏の扉」の出来は最高で、歌番組のギタリストを泣かせるようなすごいプレーを今剛さんがしており、コピーしましたが簡単には出来ないため何度も何度も弾いてマスターした時のうれしさは相当でした。私のギターがそれなりにうまく弾けるようになったのもこの作品のおかげです。それ以外でもバッキングプレイのお手本となる曲などイイ曲がたくさんあり、カワイ子ブリッ子ＳＥＩＫＯが単なるアイドルではなくミュージシャンとして万人に愛され、また認められるきっかけとなった作品ではないかとも思います。

埋もれるのがもったいない。松田聖子の歌と、演奏者の緊張感がすごく高く、曲もいい。ＴＯＴＯやＣＨＡＲを彷彿させて、めちゃウマです！
聖子のシングルを追ってみたけど、「夏の扉」「チェリーブラッサム」は、生演奏の独特のテンションが飛びぬけている点で他の曲とは違う。ちょうどそれらが収められている。

ユーミンと出会ってからオトメチックになったり、生演奏からやや無機質なポップ・サウンドになったりしたけど、このアルバムは当時のお兄さんが熱狂したのもうなづける、最高のロック・アルバムです。

松田聖子初期の代表的アルバム。収録曲のほとんどが海の歌で夏に聴くには最高の一枚です。

白い貝のブローチ、セイリング、チェリーブラッサム、あ・な・たの手紙、夏の扉と財津和夫氏作曲の作品が多数収録され、氏独特の感性を鮮やかに歌いこなす松田聖子の歌唱力は見事。特にセイリング、あなたの手紙の2曲は秀逸。

いわゆるプロの作曲家を使わず、当時活躍していた一流ミュージシャン達を作曲家として起用したことで、松田聖子独特の世界が形成され、それが今でも彼女が変わらぬ人気を誇っていることの一因となっているように思います。

このアルバムはそうした松田聖子の原点といえるもので、聴きごたえ満点のオススメアルバムです。
