昨日の昼食は何を食べたかすぐには思い出せないくせに、
このアルバムの歌詞はすらすらと、覚えている。
中学生時代、カセットテープがすり切れるまで聴いた。
そして３０歳を越えた今。
私を動かす、原動力。
すがすがしい歌声と、まっすぐな歌詞。
忘れたくても忘れられない、私たちを励まし続ける、渡辺美里の歌声。
何年か聞かなくても、ふと何かのきっかけで、思い出すあのメロディ。
そして、また口ずさんでいる。
歌が、力になり、辛いとき、生きる希望を与えてくれるモノだと、
彼女の声は、思い出させてくれるのだ。

中学時代、このアルバムをカセットテープに録音して毎日のように聴いていました。
教室の窓から見える広い校庭や芝生、海、学校帰りの夕焼け・・・なんかを思い出します。

愛してる岡村ちゃん作曲のも沢山入っていてそれもうれしい。

８０年代を思い出してきゅんとなるアルバムです。
大人になった今、また聴き返してみようかなって思いました。

「ＲＩＢＢＯＮ」と並ぶ、渡辺美里のポップスアルバムの最高峰。渡辺美里は何と当時１９歳。２枚組で作曲はほとんど、小室哲哉と岡村靖幸が担当している。全曲良いです。小室哲哉の「天使にかまれる」は鳥肌物。ヒット曲「my revolution」はドラマ「セーラー服通り」の主題歌。「そばにいるよ」も琴線に触れる楽曲と歌詞で素晴らしい。この曲は小室哲哉も自身のイベントなどでインストゥルメンタルでテクニカルにセルフカバーして演奏したりしていました。「雨よ降らないで」「teenage walk」も小室哲哉らしい良い楽曲で大好きです。「嵐が丘」にはコーラスでＴＭネットワーク全員が参加しています。岡村靖幸の「long night」「悲しき願い」「みつめていたい」も楽曲がいい。「a happy end」はボウイなどでおなじみな「honky tonky crazy」風。そして木根直登が作曲の「言い出せないまま」も彼らしいバラードでいい感じです。
