WATZは、伊集加代子・槇みちる・小出博志・東郷昌和・若子内悦郎・鈴木雪夫らの実力派メンバーによるグループ。このアルバムは、賛美歌が含まれているためなのかクラシックのジャンルに入っているが、中身はいわば極上のＰｏｐｓ！気付けば１曲目のメドレーからラストまで、一声も聞き逃すまいとしている自分がいる。全編アカペラのみで有る事さえ忘れてしまう。選曲もバラエティに富み、単なるクリスマス・アルバムとは明らかに違う。中でも絶品は８曲目、小出博志の歌唱に息を飲む『グリーンスリーブス』とラストを飾る『メリー・リトル・クリスマス』。

おそらくアカペラ！というジャンルの知名度は低かった頃、そのジャンルに魂を込めて歌い上げたメンバーの顔ぶれは　超豪華！！それぞれのパートを伸びやかに丁寧に歌い上げる姿勢に感激です。充実したスタンダードナンバーの選曲、Greensleevesにおいては　ピンと張りつめた空気の中を　透き通った小出博志さんの歌声が突き抜けて行く・・天から舞い降りた歌声に涙があふれてしまいます。
