5.0 out of 5 stars いわゆる“「空中キャンプ」以前”の集大成, 2001/12/6
後期の３人の頃のフィッシュマンズに慣れ親しんでいる人にとっては「こんなにテンポ早かったっけ？」と思えるくらい、若々しいアグレッシヴな勢いのあった頃のフィッシュマンズの“ライヴ・リミックス盤”。ライヴ音源を素材にしているからその高揚感やヴァイヴなりダイナミズムはもちろんあるのだけれど、そこにあっただろう歓声や空気の揺らぎみたいなものは一切カットされている。でも、だからこそ余計にそれぞれの音の躍動感が伝わってくる、不思議な１枚。代表曲「いかれたBABY」や「感謝(驚)」「チャンス」など後年ライヴで頻繁に演奏されるレパートリーも多数収録しているけれど、どれもさっき書いたようになんとなく性急な感じがする。

全てが研ぎ澄まされ一切の雑味を省いた「あの感じ」はまだ完成を見ていない。『空中キャンプ』以後が大海へ通ずる前の川の下流だとしたら、まだこの頃は上流から中流にかけての中州を通過している最中だったのかもしれないとも思う。でも、本当に、どうしようもなく愛おしい作品。
