岩男潤子のセカンドアルバム。アイドル風だった前作とは打って変わり、女性アーティスト陣を起用して、非常に大人びた楽曲が収められている。今もコンサートで歌われる曲も含まれ、歌手としての成果が結実しつつある時期の作品。

元セイントフォーの「いわお潤」が、声優・岩男潤子として出したセカンド。日本歌謡界の重鎮、猫八師匠御大自らのプロデュースで、しかも、参加するミュージシャンも福原まり、相曽晴日、谷山浩子、といった斎藤ネコ周辺という史上最高の強力さ。そのおかげで、声優ＣＤといった狭くてチンケなジャンル枠を軽~く飛び越えて、斎藤ネコマニアにはもちろん、一般にも幅広く受け入れられるアルバムになったと思います。
このＣＤを猫八師匠周辺世界へのエントランスに如何でしょう？気に入った曲があれば、そのクレジットをよ~く見て、ミュージシャンの名前をチェック♪　例えば、もし「鳥籠姫」が気に入ったのならば、「谷山浩子」というキーワードが、新たな楽しみへの道標になるワケですね。人それぞれ、何か、素晴らしい鉱脈を探り当てること間違いなしの、猫八師匠EntranceGateです。どうじゃ？

「斎藤ネコプロデュース」に惹かれて買った物。時代はアーティスト兼プロデューサーが女の子歌手をプロデュース、というスタイルが大流行の頃だが、これもその内の一つかな。
ストリングスのアレンジがやはり印象的で、歌手がまだ自身のスタイルを確立してない若い人というのもいい方向に効いてると思う。
アニメ声優物は歌謡曲とは切り離して別ジャンルとして店頭に並ぶが、このＣＤは歌謡曲の中に置いといていいと思う。
