いやぁ、このアルバムは中学生くらいかな、はじめて自分で買ったアルバム！

それ以来、いまでも「宝物」です！当時は音楽的なことは全くわからなかったが、色んな音楽を通ってきて、大人になった今、彼らの音楽的変遷の凄さ、楽しさがわかってくる。チェッカーズを、デビューから解散までの足取りを、「まるでビートルズ」と感じるのは僕だけでしょうか？まさしくアイドルな初期から、気が付けば、音楽マニア集団とよばれるようになっていたんだから。まあ彼らも、ビートルズを意識していたのは間違いないが…。この3枚組ベストにしても、一枚目は文字が「赤色」（つまり赤盤）、三枚目は「青色」（つまり青盤）！まあチェッカーズのベストと言えば、これで決まり！絶対「All Songs Request」よりもこれ！！

シングルも結構カットされてるし、ファンじゃないとなかなかこの選曲の意味がわからないと思います。
ですがこれは間違えなくチェッカーズの歴史なのです。言い方を変えれば、１０年で作られたアルバムです。（でもやっぱり「あの娘とスキャンダル」「Ｆｒｉｅｎｄｓ　ａｎｄ　Ｄｒｅａｍ」「ＨＥＡＲＴ　ＩＳ　ＧＵＮ」「ＳＥＥ　ＹＯＵ　ＹＥＳＴＥＲＤＡＹ」なんかはカットしてほしくなかったな…。）同時発売に「Ｏｔｈｅｒ　Ｓｉｄｅ」という裏ベストがあるのですが、それと聴くのが一番のオススメです。
シングルだけじゃ本当のチェッカーズって伝わらないんです。この３枚組の内容は本当に１０年間の名曲、時間と成長です。
「ギザギザハートの子守唄」で始まり「Ｐｒｅｓｅｎｔ　ｆｏｒ　ｙｏｕ」で終わるのがとても綺麗です。ラストシングル「Ｐｒｅｓｅｎｔ　ｆｏｒ　ｙｏｕ」の素晴らしさはこのベストだから分かると思います。十分チェッカーズですね。最高のバンドでした。

時を経て２５周年となりました。
藤井フミヤが「１５／２５」という解散してソロとなってからのベストアルバムを出しました。それ以前藤井フミヤの歴史の「１０／２５」というのはこのベストアルバムになります。
