この作品に私は音楽から入りました。とにかく曲がキレイ。バラードもアップテンポな曲も聴き応えありです。クラシック好きな人もそうでない人も買って損はしません。生活感溢れる（２）のケレス〜食堂〜病院といった流れ。そして（３）のドラマチックさ。（４）のいかにも海賊船がやってくる様子や海賊船内の息づかいや葛藤。さらに（５）ではガッシュや他の苦しみをうたってる感じです。またフロンティア号のテーマも軽快でカッコいいです。そして上の人も評価してる（６）のフローレのテーマはピアノやハープにフルートや弦等がとてもキレイです。そして私個人が特にすきなのが（７）の３分２０秒あたりからの曲です。
　ゴッドマーズから離れて聴いても聴けるものばかりです。

このアニメは、ストーリーの面白さ、魅力的なキャラクターとともにＢＧＭの質の高さでも群を抜いていると思います。
このアルバムで特にお勧めなのが、「運命の戦士フローレ」です。上品なクラシック音楽のような、それでいて物悲しく美しい旋律は何度聞いても心を揺らされます。
