　誤って軍用チップが入った玩具コマンド・エリート。主人公の少年は玩具店の息子で、両親がいない間にそれをいち早く手に入れてしまいます。コマンド・エリートは夜になると、箱を突き破って暴れ回ります。

　こんな小さな‘おもちゃ’が・・・と驚いてしまう映画ですね。恐怖はどんな小さなところにもあるということを暗示的に訴えているようにもとれます。でも、やはり一番の主題はコマンド・エリートとの対決による少年の成長ですね。どんな小さなきっかけでも、人は変われるものなのです。
