まず最初に驚かされるのが、音ではないだろうか。
爆音、レンガが割れて飛び散る音、走る靴音、車がスリップ、銃弾。
生々しく鮮明な「音」に、まず身体は緊張する。
次に動き。実写か二次元か、見まがうほどに全ては滑らかに動き、
五感全てが圧倒され、見終わったあと、しばし呆然としてしまうほど。

原作をすでに読んでいると、なんとなく内容に物足りなさや
説明不足を感じてしまうかもしれないが、
映画を別物として、その独自の世界観を楽しもうと思えば、
まったく問題なくのめりこむことが出来る。
欲を言えば、ファンとしては続編を望むところ。

原作の壮大なスケールを、大友克洋が余すところなく料理している。

目がチカチカして疲れちゃいますね。
ノアの方舟を探すべくトルコのアララトに行くわけですが、なんかもう並居る敵キャラの凄まじさったら…。
でも勝ち目ない戦い。
それでも、アクションだけはピカイチです。
