ひさしぶりに子供向けの良い本をみつけました．
小児科医の先生から紹介されたのですが、
「動物の親子」です．
ナショナルジオグラフィックの本はどれも素晴らしいものばかりで、ほとんどはずれがありませんね．
この分厚い写真集を子どもと一緒に眺めていると、人間もあんまりかわらないなあ、と微笑ましくなってしまいますね．(^^ゞ

ナショナルジオグラフィック傑作写真ベスト100―ワイルドライフもおすすめですよ！

いろんな動物の親子が７３５ページにわたって掲載されています。この写真を見ていると親と子の絆の深さに驚かされます。喰うか喰われるかの世界の中で小さい命は母親の力を借り懸命に生きています。その懸命で愛らしい姿を見て、温かい気持ちになってください。値段的にもお得です。

この本は大人も子供にもオススメ！文章は少なくて写真がいっぱい！分厚い本だけど時間を忘れて見入ってしまうぐらいキレイです。文章の漢字にはフリガナがありません。ぜひ親御さんがお子さんに読んであげて下さい。ライオンなどの肉食獣が食事をしているシーンがありますが、それが自然界なのだと改めて気付かせてくれます。可哀想と思っていたら自分が死んでしまう。私が食べている肉にもこうやって親がいるんだと思うとちょっと切なくなりました。私が目を逸らしているだけで日常的に弱肉強食が起きている。その中でも人間が一番残酷な動物なのでしょうね。動物を殺したりしているのに人が襲われたりするとすぐに捕獲・抹殺して生態系を破壊してしまう。私はこの美しい動物の家族を壊したくないなぁ。ずっと残したいなぁと強く思いました。
