ガンダム語録なのに、著者たち（本著は共同執筆なので）の私生活や思い出話や現在の状況に当てはめて物事が語られている。なぜこの言葉がこの場面に出てきたのか。この言葉によって何が導き出されたのか。この言葉がガンダムの何を語っているのか。そういったことがまるで何も語られていない。意味がない。著者たちの個人的な思い出話や体験談などには興味がない。正直言って★のひとつさえ出したくない。

いっそ純粋に語録だけを集めて「あったなあ、こういう場面」と読者に思い出させるような本であったなら喜んで受け止められた本であったろうが、執筆陣のバラつき、それぞれの語録に対するちぐはぐな感想など、どれをとってもがっかりするだけだった。

初期のガンダムが好きな方には是非おすすめしたい一冊。
これを読んで、アニメ（Ｚ）を最初から観なおしました。

このテの書籍は書き手によって愛あまるばかりに非常に偏りがちな
内容になりがちですが、ガンダム語録は他書籍と比較して、客観的で
好印象でした。
