美輪 明宏
1935年長崎市生まれ。国立音大付属高校中退。十七歳でプロ歌手としてデビュー。1957年『メケメケ』が大ヒットし天性の美貌と独自のファッションで一世を風靡する。1966年自作の『ヨイトマケの唄』で再び注目を浴び、翌年寺山修司主宰天井桟敷旗揚げ公演『青森県のせむし男』、『毛皮のマリー』に主演。1968年『黒蜥蜴』主演。1993年『黒蜥蜴』を再演。1997年再演の『双頭の鷲』で読売演劇大賞優秀賞を受賞。演劇・コンサート・映画・TV・ラジオ・講演・執筆活動などさまざまな分野で幅広く活躍する(本データはこの書籍が刊行された当時に掲載されていたものです)

長崎の花街に生まれ、
マイノリティーとしての苦しみ・悲しみから逃げることなく、
すべて引き受けて壮絶な半生を送ってきた三輪明宏の自伝。

「絹の衣装に絹の靴
　エナメルの爪にダイヤの指輪
　これは私の天の岩戸
　汚い世には住み飽きた

　「化け物！」結構
　「シスターボーイ！」結構
　「オカマ！」結構
　
　私の飢えを
　寒さを
　恐ろしさを
　無実の罪の惨めさを
　何一つ知りもせぬ奴輩よ
　岩戸の外で笑うがいい
　勝手に死ぬまで笑うがいい」

この短い文章にすべてが語りつくされている。

その美学に、
哲学に、
人間愛に

衝撃を受ける。

美輪さんがどのような幼少期、青年期を経て
現在までにいたるのかが「愛｣の視点で書かれているような気がします。
（与えられる愛、与える愛、愛する辛さ、愛される辛さ･･･など）
幼少期の戦時中の描写は、戦争を知らない私ですが、読んでいて胸を痛めたほどです。

また、恋愛のエピソードも、性別など関係なく、「美しい」と思いました。
これも美輪さん自身の表現力なのでしょうか？
読みながら涙がポロポロでてしまいました。

残念なのは、完全な履歴書ではないことです。
TVでご自身が語っていたような、体調を崩した10年については語られていません。（もちろん、金髪の所以も。）

ちなみに、本を部屋に飾っていますが、
美輪さんが微笑みかけてくださっているようで、見てるとホッとする表紙なのはGOODです＊＾＾V

美輪様が歩んでこられた今までの人生を美輪様ご自身が
美しく妖艶な文体で語られている自叙伝です。
今でこそ、おれ達人間に様々な素晴らしい教えを伝えて
おられる美輪様ですが、そんな美輪様ご自身もお若い頃は
様々な体験をされていたのだ・・ということを、この本から
知ることができ今まで人間として遠い存在に感じた美輪様に
親近感を感じる自分がなぜだか嬉しかったです。
美輪様ありがとうございます。
