　信藤三雄氏率いるCTPPがグラフィックデザインを手がけたピチカート・ファイブのCDジャケットを中心としたアートワーク集です。
　信藤氏は、グラフィックデザインにおいて、写真において、素材において、形態において、さまざまな面で日本のCDジャケットのデザインに刺激を与え続けていますが、なかでもピチカート・ファイブの作品はずば抜けているのではないでしょうか。
　この本にはそんなCDジャケットデザインにおいて最高峰というか、一時代を築いたというか、そんなデザインが凝縮されています。
　その雰囲気は、キュートで、かっこよくて、渋くて。エッジが効いていて。なんて言葉で並べるといくらでもあるけれど、まぁカンタンに言えば、とにかくグッとくる。グッと。
　分厚くって読み応えもありますが、綴じがちょっと甘いのが悲しいといえば悲しいか。
　でも、とにかく本書を開くだけでなんとなく楽しい気分になる。うれしい一冊です。

音楽だけでなく、CD（LP）ジャケットやPVにも力を入れているピチカート♪

ピチカートのすべてが好きなピチカートマニアなら持ってて当然という感じ。

解散後にピチカートを知った人や、LPを持ってない人、ファンクラブに入ってなかった人、東京や関東近辺に住んでなかった為に
見れなかった広告やファンクラブの会報などまで細かく載ってます。

後ろの方には、ピチカート関係者のインタビューも記載。

お得な1冊だと思いますよ♪

5.0 out of 5 stars YMO以来最もビジュアルに厳しかったバンド、, 2004/3/1
（タイトルから続いて）それがピチカート・ファイヴ。デビュー当時から解散までのさまざまなアートワークの数々が惜しげもなく披露されるこの一冊、94年に出た「ブートレグ」とともにファン必携の書。CTPPの仕事で一番マッチングが良かったのがこのバンドだったと思うし、その最大の理由はもちろん小西康陽の存在だろう。しかし一般に手に入りやすかったアイテムの大半を押さえている自分に半ば呆れてしまった。もちろん後悔してません。
