北原 照久
1948年、東京生まれ。青山学院大学経済学部卒。1986年、(株)トーイズを設立後、多くの博物館を開設し、次々に夢を実現してきた。2003年の秋から3年間に渡ってアメリカ・フロリダにあるディズニーワールドでコレクション展を開催。果てしない夢が世界に向けて羽ばたいている。10年目に突入するテレビ東京「開運!なんでも鑑定団」のレギュラー鑑定士として活躍の他、TBSテレビ午後の「ジャスト」で水曜日のコメンテーター、テレビ神奈川の「ハマ大国」などに出演中。全国規模の講演も急増(本データはこの書籍が刊行された当時に掲載されていたものです)

この本は読むだけで元気が出ます。読みやすい、わかりやすい。この本で私の人生変わりました。素晴らしい本です。北原さんのファンになります。

この本に書いてあったことで、面白かったので紹介します。

仕事上必要とされる人のことを「ジンザイ」と言いますが、それには４種類のジンザイがいるのだそうです。
４つのジンザイに別々の漢字をあててみます。

「人材」
これは一般的に使われる漢字ですね。
この人材は、材という字を使うように、材料となる人という意味ですね。
仕事の主体にはならないけど、与えられた仕事はてきぱきとこなし、成果も出す。

期待するよりもよい仕上がりにもできる能力がある。
このくらいの人間なら絶対欲しい、というレベルですね。

「人在」
存在しているだけの人という意味ですね。
可もなく不可もなし、ですね。
与えられた仕事はなんとかこなす。
期待したレベルには仕上げてこれるけど、でも面白みはない。
クビにするほどじゃないけど、他に換えが効く程度の人。

「人罪」
たまにいるでしょ。いるだけで困っちゃう人。
あいつがいない方が仕事が進むのにーっていう人。
まったく罪ですなー。

「人財」
これが一番よいジンザイ。
会社にとって財産となる人。
こういう人は上から言われた仕事はもちろんできる。
それどころか、言われない仕事もクリエイトしていける。
つまり新しい仕事を開発できる人ですね。
今ある仕事をするだけだと、よくて現状維持です。
発展していくためには新しい仕事を開拓しなくちゃならない。
それができる人が、人財なんです。

さてさて、ぼくは少なくとも人材にはなりたいなー。
