長年就業規則を改定していなかったため、法改正に合わせ就業規則の改定をしたいと思い参考書を探していたのだが、
多くの書籍は、「労務トラブルを解決するために、就業規則をリスク管理型にしましょう」という主旨のものだった。
しかし、この本は、「職場のルールブック」という今までにない手法を提案していて、非常に興味深く読むことが
できた。
いままで就業規則は法律で決まっているから作っているという感じだったし、使っている言葉も法律の条文のような
ものなので、社員も正直読んでいなかったと思う。就業規則は法律で決まっている部分もあるので、ある程度固い
文言になるのはやむをえないが、就業規則の副読本としてわかりやすい言葉でマナーや一般的な職場のルール、社員と
してなすべき行動を徹底することは非常に有意義だと思う。その意味では、この本で提案している「職場ルールブック」
という手法は、非常に有意義だと思う。
就業規則の服務規律は社員に読んでもらって本当に守らせることができる。書いてある言葉が難しくていままで読んで
もらえなかった就業規則だが、職場ルールブックなら社員に読んでもらったり、ミーティングや朝礼で活用することも
可能だと思うので、本当に目からウロコだった。
一般的なルールブックのひな形がデータでついているのもありがたい。これを自社版にカスタマイズすることで、職場の
状況に合った職場ルールブックをつくっていきたい。

職場ルールのハンドブックという聞き慣れない言葉にひかれて手に取りました。
なかなか社員にルールを徹底させることは難しい問題で、困っていましたが、ハ
ンドブックという発想なら、従業員にも受け入れやすいのではないかと感じまし
た。
本の内容は、就業規則作成の注意点から、実際にハンドブックの雛形も載ってい
て、とても詳しく、実践的な内容だったので、すぐに役立つと思います。

職場ルールのハンドブックという発想は面白いが、内容はいただけない。
もっと期待していただけに正直言ってがっかりした。

ハンドブックは学校の校則のような言い回しとレベル感のもの。

新入社員向けガイドブックくらいにしか使えないレベルであり、その内容の乏しさはどうみても職場という現場感覚が欠如しているとしか思えない。
このレベルで中堅、ベテラン社員が納得するとしたらそんな会社はそもそも社内問題が大きいのではないだろうか。

もちろん、就業規則を変えるだけで会社が一気に改善するとは思っていないと思うが、この内容で世に問うとするならば、現役社員ではないコンサルタントの立場の限界かもしれない。
