大型で紙質もよく、冨士宏氏のカラーラフ満載、という魅力的な画集にも
かかわらず、内容が「？」な残念な商品です。

ほかの方も書いている通り、未発表タイトルの設定画らしきものが全体の
半分ほどを埋めているのだが、このタイトルが現在企画進行中なのか、過去
に頓挫したものなのか、巻頭にナムコ関係者のコメントが入っているにも
関わらず、まったく触れられていない。
そういった大事なことを伏せられたまま見せられても、見る側は戸惑って
しまう。ゲーム企画なので、状況が流動的なのは仕方ないにしても、どう
いった背景で画集に収録したのか、説明を入れるのが筋というものでしょう。

キャラクター人気が根強い割には不遇な、このシリーズを象徴しているかの
ようなつくりの画集だと感じました。

冨士宏氏の描くワルキューレシリーズの画集です。
「ワルキューレワールド カラー設定イラスト画集」との名の通り
主に世界観の資料色が強い内容となっております。
ですから、今までのオフィシャル等の絵が全て載っている訳では
ありませんのでご注意を。
世界設定のカラーイラストが満載の作品なので、
氏独自の世界観が好きな方にはオススメです。
以前に出ていました「ワルキューレ ストーリーブック」の
カラーページも収録されていますよ。
ただし、その部分は絵のみで文章などは収録されていませんが･･････。

ワルキューレの絵だけを求める人には、あまりオススメ出来ないかも？です。

昔懐かしいワルキューレの世界をイラストで見ることが出来ます。
実際に過去にゲームをされた方なら、きっと懐かしい思いで見る事が出来るでしょうし、ゲームをされていない方でも、独特の暖かい絵柄を楽しむ事も出来るでしょう。

ただ、画集だけに絵が中心であり、ワルキューレに関するプロフィールなどはほとんどありません。
また、今までゲームで出たキャラクターや設定を出来るだけ掲載しようとしたせいか、肝心のワルキューレ本人の絵は少なめです。

ですので、ワルキューレ個人が好きな方より、ワルキューレの世界そのものが好きな方にお勧めな画集です。
というわけで星３つです。
