前巻のラストは衝撃的でしたが、今回はそれを受けての悲しいお話でした。でも、どこか温かさや希望が感じられるのが、この作品のいいところですね。

今回驚かされたのは、これまでに張り巡らせた伏線が上手く生かされていることです。
シュウの病名もそうですし、葬儀で流れたピアノ演奏の曲目まで、思わず以前の単行本を取り出して確認してしまったほどです。

全体的に悲しい雰囲気でしたが、筋肉ムキムキの体育教師が生徒たちに見せた思いやりと、それに応えてシュウの分までマラソンする生徒たちのエピソードには心温まるものがありました。

今回は本当に涙がこぼれるくらい哀しくて切ない巻でした。

他のレビューにもある通り、確かに少し『悲しい境遇』を作りすぎな感はありますね。
ただ、アスミ達がどんなに辛いことも乗り越えて宇宙を目指す、というコンセプトには今回の話は必要だったと思います。

ここ数巻は、滅入る内容だったり、話の展開が遅かったり（前巻後半は急展開でしたが）..。
他の方も書かれていましたが、哀愁漂う内容のオンパレードになってしまっていて
正直、スピカを読み始めた当初のワクワク感が最近は感じられません。

あのワクワクをもう一度！
次巻期待してます。
