3.0 out of 5 stars 新堂作品を決定付けるもの, 2008/10/19
新堂作品も結構読んできた。基本的にストーリー展開は同じである。２人のヒロインから誘惑され関係を結び、２人の間を行き来する蜜月を続けるが、やがて双方にバレる。それまでは嫉妬の鞘当てが続くのだがバレてからは双方からそっぽを向けられる。作品によっては一旦袖にされる場合もあるが、どちらにせよ最後は和解して終わる。当然ながら作品毎に設定が異なるので細かな部分はいろいろ変えてくる。本作では野外プレイや裸エプロンがある。そこで作品の行方を決定付けるのが結末である。以前はどちらかのヒロインが身を退く結末がよく見受けられたが最近はみんなで仲良く終わることが多い。本作もハーレムエンドである。すると、もう一つ大事な要素が見えてくる。主人公である。基本的に流されっ放しのヘタレ主人公ばかりだが、その程度が問題。本作のようなダメ主人公では、読みながら「ダメだなぁ、主人公もっとしっかりしろよ」と感じてしまいシラけるのである。良い子なんだけどヒロイン達の優しさに甘えて調子に乗り、自ら二股に持ち込もうとする姿勢はいただけない。主人公がこれだと全てが明るみになって初めて自分の愚かさに気付いて自己嫌悪し、ヒロイン達のお膳立てで和解するパターンとなる。主人公がもうちょっとしっかりしていると二股や、作品によっては禁忌、あるいは背徳に葛藤し、このままじゃいけないとどちらかを選ぼうと決断するが、ヒロイン達側からの申し出で和解という道を辿り、読後感が飛躍的に向上するのだが、本作は残念ながらそうではない。それでも魅惑的で可愛らしいヒロイン達や、いやらしいエッチシーンなどは水準以上なので相応に楽しめる内容を保持している。むしろ作り込んでいく過程での作者の苦労を垣間見た気がして、何となく「お疲れさまです」と声を掛けたくなった。
