5.0 out of 5 stars ライトノベルの「今」が分かる, 2006/11/21
次々と新しいレーベルが生まれ、レジの前で平積みされている本は毎週変わっていく。
あまりにも流れが早いのでライトノベルの動向についていけてないが、これを読んで少しつかめた気がした。
知らない本が多いので、「世界の命運！」や「働く人々」というように、ジャンルごとに分けて作品の紹介と解説をしているページはありがたかった。
また、手あかのついていない作品を大きく取り上げていたので、ライトノベルに詳しくない身としては、買った甲斐があった。さすが、先をいく人達は目の付け所が違う。
そういう意味で、完成度も「このミス」っぽくなってきた。来年も楽しみ。

最近、ひょんなことでTVアニメを何本か見る機会がありました。原作はコミックかティーン小説（←私の世代の言い方）だろうと当たりをつけていたのですが、「いったい何を原作にしてるのかなー？」と知りたくなって興味津々で買い求めました。

朝日ソノラマと集英社コバルト文庫で育った世代からみれば、「ライトノベル」と言われる作品数の多いことに素直に驚きます。なんと百花繚乱なことかと思います。

個々の作品を手に取ったことはないのですが、これらの作品はプロットよりも、読者がぐっとひきつけられるディテールに凝っているんだろうな、というような印象を全般的に受けました。「守ってあげたい系」のボーイ・ミーツ・ガールもの＋かっこいいメインキャラが吐く、シリアスな場面でのボケ台詞とか。別に非難しているわけではありません。この類の読書は、読んで楽しいのがいちばんです。個人的にはもうちょっとストロング（ダークじゃなくて）な作品があってもいいかも…と思いましたが。

「オタクっぽいシチュエーションかも･･･」と正直思わないものがないわけではないですが、世の中には普通の装丁なのにもーっと濃い本もたくさんあるわけですし、趣味だけで読めなくなる（仕事で読んだり）こともままあるので、本好きになるとっかかりにはいいと思います。

というわけで、このジャンル卒業生の私としては、いい勉強になりましたということでこの評価としました。

次に読みたいものを探すのにとても参考になった。
バトル！・萌える・笑える・脱力・しみじみ…とか
要素アイコンがついているのが便利＆笑える。
個人的にはヤスダさんの壁紙がいつも楽しみ（T▽T）。
