もう何が凄いってまず絵柄
ウマヘタで云えば神の域に居る皆様それぞれの思うところある最高峰作家さんと比べちゃっちゃいけません、下手です
（でも最近はそうでもないかな、綺麗になってきた）
いやでも凄いんですよ、画
物凄い魅力があり、なおかつ勢いのある狂気をそのまま画像にしてくれる作家なんて今まで居なかった
居たかもしれないけど此処まで小気味良いのは私としては初めてです
そしてその狂気は画だけに留まらず台詞にも溢れているところが相乗効果で、この何年も終わらない漫画を待ち続けている人々の待機力になるんでしょう
最初のセラスを吸血鬼にする時のアーカードの台詞、アンデルセン神父と対峙するときの台詞、ヤン・バレンタインの放送とか、ネットではあまりにも有名すぎる少佐の演説とかもう最高でございます
しかしこれはホンット、見る人を選ぶかと
人がばたばた死んで行きますし、純粋悪とも云えない戦争浪漫のドス黒さと、悲惨と悲壮の相乗があります
しかしそんな中だってのに惚れるぐらい格好良い生き様を見せるキャラや、確固たる信念を持って戦いに挑む姿勢が見れたりもするんでそういうのも物凄くオススメです
でも軽い気持ちで楽しみたいなら、殆どの登場人物がバケモノなので、人外さん大暴れ漫画として斜めに見ると素敵かと思われます。

造られた吸血鬼達とアーカードの戦いが始まる。
暗い画面に、独特の台詞回し。
迫力のある作画、間のある画面構成から受けるリズムが心地よい。
巻末のＣＲＯＳＳ　ＦＩＲＥ、そしてあとがきまんがは必見！！

とにかく名台詞の連続する巻です。

「小便はすませたか？（中略）命乞いする準備はOK？」
「隠れてなどいない。ただ待ちくたびれただけだ。」「そうか・・・ではお待ちかねといこう！」
「それでは教育してやろう。吸血鬼の闘争というものを・・・」
「お前達のクソ雑巾が２人死のうが２兆人死のうが何人死のうか知ったことか。」
「闘争だよ考えてもみたまえ君。きっと血みどろの闘争になるに違いない素敵だろう？」

インパクトの強さのあまり忘れる事は不可能（笑）
アーカードの強さの反則さも良く分かるであろう巻です。
