3.0 out of 5 stars 新刊だが新論ではない, 2008/10/13
従来から長徳氏が展開されている論の延長線上に位置する本です。
氏の視点や語り口で今の写真趣味（カメラ趣味）の状況が語られており、
面白く読めるところはあります。
反面、
従来からある独りよがりの話の展開やクラカメ万歳の結論は相変わらずであり、
昔から氏の話が鼻につくと感じている人には同じ印象を残すと思います。
どなたかのレビューでもあったようですが、
まさに酒の席でのカメラ談義的な話の展開です。
最初のうちは同意できない点があってもまぁお付き合いできるが、
酒の進んだ第3章あたりになるとケンカになりそうな本です。
銀塩カメラ時代のヒエラルキーがデジカメ時代では崩壊してしまった、
などなるほどと思える点も多々あるのですが、
読後の印象は私としては残念なものです。

カメラマンのおじさんが、飲み屋で談義しているような内容の本。
結論的に銀塩写真がすぐれているという内容です。
ちょっと懐古趣味すぎて、みずみずしいクリエイティビティが感じられず残念です。カメラマンとしての経験談を上から目線で披露しているだけで、著作のための調査などされていない模様。たびたび六本木ヒルズの49Fにオフィスがあることを強調しているのは筆者の自慢なのでしょうか？
輝かしい経歴をお持ちの方なのでしょうが、私は写真界の知識がないので、申し訳ないのだけど、この本を読んでも、読者の方のカメラライフが充実するとは思えません。ひたすらよもやま話的です。この本を読む時間があったら、デジカメもって出かけてしまったほうが良いと思います。編集者の方の努力なのか、読みやすい文章になっていたのでプラス★1個つけました。

プロカメラマンの問わず語りのような本です。
飲み屋で徒然にしゃべっているのに耳を傾けるような感じ。
それを面白いとおもうか、たいした中身がないじゃんと思うかは
ひとぞれぞれかと。
示唆に富む面もあれば、何をいいたいのかよく分からないという部分もあるのが
正直なところですが、
それなりに面白く読める本ではあると思います。
綺麗に撮らなくていい、失敗するのでもいいといったあたり。
