本書はレビューを書く手助けになる本です。

それは読む事と書く事とは連動しているからです。
読書好きだけどもレビューを書けない人は書けないだけでなく、読めていないから
書けない。

ちゃんと読めた証明は
「この本のどこが面白いか」「読み所は何処か」「学んだ事は何処か」（歩留まり）
「この本で引用したい箇所は何処」を人へ話せるか書けるかです。

また時間芸術の映画、音楽をレビューしてみると本に比べて難しい！
私もこれらのレビューは惨敗しています。

著者は１日２時間読書、年間百冊、１０年間で千冊読めば読む力は
完全に身につくと説いています。
そのためには広く読む。
何故ならば深く読むにはある程度広く読まないと
そこまで深く掘り起こせないから。

そして沢山の種類の事から始める。
すると芋づる式に自分の領域が広がる。ゲームの木やパスカルの三角形の
ように自分の幅が一気に広がります。

ちなみにこの本で引用した箇所はこのレビューのほとんどを占めています。
それだけ内容のある本だからです。

読む力＝書く力として、この力が今の日本でいかに必要か、いかにして上手に文章を書けるようになるかが書いてあります。

力をつけるための、例題や課題がところどころに挿入されていて、飽きずにざっくり読んでいけました。
また、著者の文章も面白く書かれていて、それ自体がこの本の有効性を裏付けるように感じました。

この本の後半には、企業へのエントリーシートの書き方と心構えが書いてあるので、大学生の皆さんにも参考になるかと思います。

齋藤さんは「声に出して読みたい日本語」(経営破綻した草思社刊）で一躍有名になり、
「書く」「コミュニケーション」などについて一時は毎月のように本が出された。
さすがにあれだけ出すと水増し感は否めず、
だんだんと読まなくなっていたのだが、本書は書店でさらっと立ち読みして
久々に購入してしまった。

テンポがいいのである。例題、課題などもリズミカルに挿入される。
実用的でありながらエッセイの要素も含まれている。

読む」と「書く」は地続きだから切り離して会得しようとするとうまくいかない――

と著者は書く。鬼のように本を読むけど文章を書くのは苦手、
という人を何人か知っているので、必ずしも全面的に賛成はできないが、
「書く力」を身につけるときには、「いい文章」をどれだけ読むかがポイントになると
私も思う。ただし、読み方に工夫は必要だ。
何も考えずに読み飛ばすのと、なぜここにこの言葉が……と考えて読むのとでは
「書く」ときに差が出てくる。

文章力をつける本に即効性を求めてはいけない。
いい文章をどう読むか――ここからスタートしている本書は、
「読む」と「書く」をつなぎ合わせてトレーニングすることを提唱している。
それには「時間」も必要だ、と。

文章は読みやすく、ざっくりつくられているが、奥の深さを感じた本である。
