たかはしみきさんの著書で、テーマが特に〈食べ物〉に限定されていないのは、これが初めてですよね。今までは、絵と文章の合間からかいま見えるくらいだった作者の姿が、この本では前面に出ています。
一生懸命でユーモラスなお人柄（「こげぱん」シリーズのキレイパンに似てる？）が…う〜んかわいい！特に「血の気がサーッと引く瞬間」には笑えたなぁ。でも、可笑しいだけじゃなくて、しんみり、ほろっとするところもあるというのが、味わい深いところです。ちょっとした時間の合間に読んで、ほっこりできるエッセイ集。おすすめ！

美食の後にはジャンクフードが欲しくなる。
ポテチ＋コーラは黄金コンビ。
あ〜私もだ。わかるわかる！

指先の怪我は地味に痛く、長引く。
だから大根おろしや刻みは緊張する。
これもわかる！

しくじった時は思わず現実逃避する・・。
私だけじゃないんだ！

と、いちいち共感してしまう本です。
イラストレーターの意外に地味な日常も
実感することが出来るお得な本。

旦那さんも優しそうな、理想のメガネ男性で
お幸せなんだな〜と微笑ましかったです。

こげぱんでお馴染み、
たかはしみき氏のイラストエッセイ。

先ず、表紙のホットケーキのイラストに
さるきちはノックアウトっ。

そして、ページをめくっていくと・・・


ハートをぶち抜かれる瞬間、とか

血の気がサーッと引く瞬間、とか
「あ〜いいねェ 」と声を出しちゃう瞬間、とか

むしょうに〇〇が食べたくなる瞬間、とか
ものすごく後悔する瞬間 、とか

聞こえないフリをする瞬間、とかとか。


目のつけどころもセンスあって、
そして、それぞれにちっこくて素朴なイラストと
キュートなエピソード満載で、
最後の１ページまで楽しめる一冊です。

嗚呼、さるきち、ずっと見てても飽きないわあ。


いろんな瞬間がたくさん
わたしたちの暮らす毎日をつないでる


たかはし氏はそう言ってね、
ひとつひとつをピックアップして
描写してるわけです。


さるきちの毎日もね、
そんな素敵な瞬間でできているのよね。


こうしたイラストエッセイを見ていると
なーんにもしない一日だったって、
素敵な一日じゃないかあ

って思えてきます。


また、「本できるまで」というコラムと
仕事部屋や道具を紹介したページもあって、

本の出版を目指しているさるきちとしては、
興味深かったです。

プロの方でも、何度も校正が入ったり
赤ペンぎっしりの修正依頼に凹んだりするんだなあ。

さるきちもまだまだ先は長いのだ。
気をしっかり持たねばっっ。


嗚呼、いつかさるきちも


「さるきち版○○の瞬間」


を描いてみたいもの。

夢は膨らみます、ずんずんと。（←いつもの妄想）
