作者も大好きだと言っていた「神様がみている」の回とコミック未収録の結末が入っています。雑誌では話が終わっていたにも関わらず、長く単行本化されていなかったのでやっと終わったと思った人も多いと思います。すべてがうまくいったハッピーエンドではありませんが終わり方はこれしかないでしょう。ただ個人的にはこの本の結末は前世紀中に出して欲しかったです。世紀末のオカルトブームの中、この希望のもてる結末は気に入っていたから。でもこの作者の漫画は中途半端なままになっているものが多いのできちんと終わってくれたことは喜ばしい限りです。

何年も見ることが出来なかった『アーシアン』の完結話が収録されている。

オムニバス形式で続いていた初期の『アーシアン』から追ってみると、
「いやあ、なんとキレイにうまくまとめたなぁ！」と、感慨深い気持ちが味わえます。

「"ちはや"の耐え忍ぶ愛」、「"影艶"の守り抜く愛」、「"みゆき"の貫く愛」、
「"多紀"の見守る愛」などいろいろな愛のスタンスが胸に迫る。

「完結編だけみたいのよー！」というかつての読者は、この3巻がオススメ。

私の中で「アーシアン」という作品は
およそ10年近く止まっていました。
当時、連載誌の方は全く見ていなかったので、
気長にコミックスが刊行されてから読んでいたのです。

しかし半年経っても一年経っても、6巻以降の続刊が刊行されることは
ありませんでした（事情はよく知りませんが）
当時はネットの普及率も低く、疑問を解決する手段は
とても少なかったと思います。

「アーシアン」を初めて手に取ったきっかけは、
書店に平積みされていたカバーの綺麗さに惹かれて。
予備知識はゼロ。当然ちはやは女のコだと思って買いました（苦笑）

当時5巻まで刊行されましたが、私と同じくそこで止まってしまった方、
忘れてしまった方、「アーシアン」はまだまだあんなものではありません。
是非完結版の「第3巻」と完結版4冊目にあたる「別冊」を手に取って
頂きたいです。
完結版の3巻は、当時のコミックスの5巻の途中あたりから始まります。
当時のあらすじを思い出すにはちょうど都合が良いです。

ちはやと影艶、多紀と美幸、エルヴィラ、黒天使。
それぞれの愛のカタチ。あまりにも強く強く心に残るいくつもの言葉。
命懸けの愛は・・・

機会があれば「アーシアン外伝　シークレットガーデン」もお勧めします。
こちらは同人誌的な位置付けだと思うので入手は困難かも知れませんが・・・
完結版3巻のルシフェルがらみの原案（悪く言えばボツストーリー）や、
ミカエルとラファエルの結末も描かれています。
