これは、mixiを深く愛し、使いこなした人たちによる、具体的なノウハウ集である。

著者名の胡散臭さ、タイトルと表紙イラストのダサさはさておき、内容は非常に濃い。

今まで出てきた単なるサービスの紹介本やカタログ的な本と違い、転職や恋愛など、mixiを使ってどう人生を変えていけるのか、コミュニケーションを行う上で表面化する問題、発生しうるトラブルへの予防策にも触れられている。
これは実際にmixiで仕事を得たり、トラブルを体験して乗り越えた人でないと書けない内容だと思う。

mixi内で有名な人たちにもインタビューを敢行しているし、mixiを退会した人からmixiへの辛めのコメントも寄せられている。

今まで出版されたmixi本、SNS本を全て読んだが、その中でこれが一番優れているだろう。
値段も安いので、mixiをヘビーに使いこなしたい人には購入をお勧めする。
熟読すれば今のmixiライフの先にある物が見えてくるはず。

もうすぐ登録者100万人に迫ろうとしているSNSサービス・mixiについての本．

すでにmixiに関する本は，数冊出ているが，SNSそのものの認知度が低かったために
mixiというサービスの概要やいわゆる出会い系サイトとの違いなどを記述したモノが多かった．

本書は，これまでの内容からさらに一歩進めた，より実践的なハウツー本といった内容になっている．

私にこの書の購入を決めさせた項目は以下のようなもの．

・知らない人からのメッセージの対応方法は
・ナンパ目的のマイミク依頼・・・どうしたらいい？
・会社の上司，同僚がマイミクシィになったら
・マイミクシィは多い方がいい？少ない方がいい？
・mixi中毒と言われた時の処方箋は
などなど

mixiを上手に使っていくためのコツをよくまとめている．

いままでの使い方から一歩進めた賢い（？）接し方を学んでみてはどうでしょうか？

mixi の初中級解説書です。多くの小項目からなり、mixi をしばらく使っている人が疑問に思うこと、躓くこと、悩むことなどについて、簡潔かつ具体的に易しく解説します。読者は気になる項目を拾い読みされるとよいでしょう。版型が小さくページも少ないので、最初から全部読み通してもかまいません。

mixi は招待されることだけが難しく、登録後の基本操作はとても簡単です。旧交を温めるためだけに用いるなら、おそらく本書は必要ありません。問題は mixi で新たな交友関係を築き、何らかの形で人生にプラスの影響を与えようとした場合に生じます。ふつうの人は、第一歩の踏み出し方にさえ迷うでしょう。

本書は他ユーザとの交流に関する事柄を中心に、ていねいな説明を試みています。初級者が中級者にステップアップするために必要な「常識」がコンパクトにまとまっているので、いろいろ野望を抱いている方はまず一読されることを勧めます。

ただし本書はあくまでも初級者向け。ヘビーユーザには当たり前すぎる内容でつまらないでしょうから要注意。
