漫画は絵があるので説明が分かり易いですね。
購入した自転車のチェーンオイルを湿式から乾式に変えるところや、ケイデンスの測定に電子メトロノームを使用するなどは、早速真似させて頂きました。
チェーンが外れた時は手で直しアルコールティッシュで拭くとありますが、私は軍手を携帯しそれを使用しています。その方が手が汚れなくてよいのではないのでしょうか？
高千穂さんが多摩サイで「前転」したエピソードはとても恐ろしく、ヘルメットの必要性がよく分かります。
などなど日常的に自転車に乗る人にとって（これから乗ろうとしている人にとって）とても参考になります。

高千穂遙さんと一本木蛮さんの共著の自転車入門本。ずっとオートバイに乗っていた一本木さんが高千穂さんの勧めで自転車にハマっていくところを、一本木さんのマンガで描いている。

最近出てきた自転車の本って、地球環境がどうの、健康がどうのとやたら理屈っぽいのが多い。いや、そういう本からも楽しいのは伝わるんだけど、この本は蛮さんの絵柄もあって、本当に楽しそうってことが全面に出てます。マニアが見て役に立つ情報というのはあんまりないけれど、「ちょっと自転車に興味がある」ぐらいの人にはオススメです。

　自転車の楽しさをこれまた楽しく伝えてくれる一冊。ところどころに非常に役立つ知識や情
報が書かれているので、それを見つけ出すのもまた楽しい作業です。いきなりすごい事をやっ
てのけるのではなくて、ごく普通の人があたりまえの失敗もしながら、良き師に導かれて自転
車のとりこになってゆく過程も面白い。とにかく楽しめる作品でした。特にサドルにまつわる
局部の痛みとかそこらあたりのトラブルの話しは、なかなか本には書かれないことをずばっと
書かれていて、同じ悩みを持つ人にはとても良かったんじゃないかと思います。
　何回も読み直してしまう面白さ、文句なく★★★★★です。
