ラブレス家の当主を何者かに殺されてぶちギレたロベルタ。敵をうつべくロアナプラに乗り込んで来た彼女のおかげで、今まで危うい均衡を保ってきた街のコワモテの方々が一触即発ムードになってきます。さらに、彼女の真の敵とも言うべき、当主殺害の黒幕の存在も徐々に見えてきます。今巻ではド派手なドンパチはあまりありませんが、各人が各々の立場に立った駆け引きを行う様は、まるで導火線に点った火が少しずつ爆弾に近づいて行くようでアリだと思いました。もちろん★5つ!!

　セリフが多いマンガだよな〜ｗ。で、そのセリフがイカしてると思うんだよ。

　今回一番よかったシーンはちびっ子メイドのプールシーンでもなく、レヴィーのシャワー
シーンでもなく、ミスター・張だな。ロックのことを随分と買っているんですな。ここの
シーンが非常にカッコよかった。マンガの舞台、ロアナプラの未来を見つめて言ってるよな
シーンであった。あと、三合会での語りもカッコよかった。

　レヴィーとロックの関係も、シャワーシーンでのやり取りで決まっちまったよな、な感じ
なのでここも見どころか、本来のロベルタとガルシア絡みの話は次巻以降じゃないと、
ヨーわからん感じだ。

「我々が法律を作り、我々こそがその支配者たる場所――
　「現代の海賊共和国」――我らの望む穢れた別天地。
　たゆまぬ努力、そしていくばくかの幸運に恵まれ、この田舎町を――
　この街すべてを、俺たちのアジトへと変貌させた。
　（中略）
　それが――この街だ。それがロアナプラだ」

ブラクラはしばらく買っていなかったが、コンビニで立ち読みしている途中で
上記の張アニキの演説にガツンとやられて即購入。

おお、なるほど。
『ブラック・ラグーン』ってのは、そういう話だったのかよ。

今までは、商社マンからならず者にドロップアウトしたロックの成長や
同じラグーン商会の女ガンマン・レヴィとの仲だの、
バラライカ姐さんのイカレっぷりだの、
ドンパチ、ドンパチ、ドンパチだのを中心に読んできたのだが、
ここにきて、舞台となる悪徳の街・ロアナプラの行く末が気になってきた。

というか、内外の悪党どもの間で絶妙なバランスを取ることで存続している
このユートピアの浮沈が、ストーリーの大きな軸だということにようやく気づいた。

ブラクラのドンパチは非常に魅力的なんだけど、次第に飽きてきて、
「ラグーン商会の面々は今日も元気にドンパチやってます」というようなラストを
想像してしばらく買ってなかった。けど、こうなると、
ユートピアの崩壊をもって、この作品は完結するんじゃないかという気がしてくる。

ドンパチ少なめの折り返しの巻、とあとがきにも書かれているが、ストーリーの主軸が
定まってきて、購入の価値ありだと思う。おまけページもわりと好き。
