ついに最終回を迎えてしまいました…。
1巻2巻…と読み進めるうちに、042号こと田島に情がうつり、死んで欲しくないなぁと強く思うようになります。
そして椎名と田島の関係がだんだん友人の様になってくるのがすごくほほえましく感じます。
植物や、実験先の学校の生徒、椎名博士等と触れ合ううちに次第に正常な人間の心を取り戻していく田島。
彼はきっと元々は心の優しい人間だったんだと思います。
最後に、田島が誰にも言わずに秘密にしていた幼少の頃の忌まわしい出来事がわかり、涙する椎名。
…私も泣きました。
田島が死んでしまう事は最初から分かってた事だけど、とても悲しかったです。
普通の恋愛を扱ったマンガ等と違い、死刑囚が主人公という風変わりな作品ですが、とても面白いので是非読んでみて下さい！

死刑囚という、非常に重たいテーマのこの作品。
読み進めるうちに０４２号の成長がひしひしと伝わってきました。
最初は感情を表に出すのが非常に難しかった０４２号が、日に日に少しづつ感情を取り戻し、「いい子」になっていく姿がとても心打たれました。
はじめから彼の最期はわかっていたのに・・・・最終回は涙が止まりませんでした。

他にも椎名さんをはじめ、ゆめちゃん、あやのさん、みらいちゃんといったサブキャラクターお魅力いっぱいです☆☆

小手川ゆあ先生の数々の作品の中でもこの「死刑囚０４２」は秀逸です！！！

最初の巻に書いてあったとは言え、一体どういった流れで最後を迎えるのだろうと思案していました。
最後は実にあっさりとしていて･･あまり描写されていない事に安堵と清々しさを感じます。

主人公は死刑囚。
「死刑制度廃止」を念頭に、それに変わる案として脳内に制御装置を埋め込む実験を受けることになった主人公の心の成長の物語。
一巻から、力のあるシーンと言葉が時折混ぜられ、心をぎゅっと握られたようなそんな魅力ある作品です。

読み終わってしばらくしても･･それでもたまに思い出すような、そんな作品です。

面白かったです。
死刑囚というテーマであり、いい人間関係を描いていると思います。
名作ですね。感動しますた。なきました。
