　「白き花びら」本当に切ない。身を切られるほどの哀しい別れ。でもこの経験があったから白薔薇さまは人間的におおきく成長できたのだと思う。自分が辛い、哀しい経験をしたから人の哀しみや辛さが理解でき、だからこそ悩み、苦しんでいる祐巳さんや志摩子さんを優しく受け止め、励まし、手助けをする。その言葉にも深みや説得力がある。

　この次の「ロサ・カニーナ」以降、白薔薇さま＝聖さまは、「頼りになる存在」として描かれていくが、それもこの作品で単なるおちゃらけた抱きつき魔でないことが証明されたからであろう。これは海援隊の「贈る言葉」の歌詞にある「人は悲しみが多いほど他人に優しくできるのだから」にぴったり当てはまるのではないか。

巷で人気の白薔薇様。確かにお茶目で素敵だけど、何でみんなそんなに好きなんだろー…って思ってましたが、この「いばらの森」を読んで納得。あんな過去を背負いながら（しかもそんなに昔の話じゃないのに…）あかるく楽しく優しく振る舞える白薔薇様！私もファンになりました~！

でも欲をいえば、祥子さまと祐巳ちゃんで、もうちょっと明るいラブラブなシーンも欲しかったかも…。
とにかく切なくて素敵なお話でした！絶対お勧めです！！

明るくておもしろいロサ・ギガンティアの思い出が語られています！
ロサ･ギガンティア大好きの人は絶対読むべきです！
もちろん、他の薔薇さまたちが好きな人でも絶対感動できるはず！！！
