温泉ブームだからこその１冊。だからといって軽視できない。全頁オールカラー、また各旅館や旅行サイトではなかなかここまで詳しく拝見できない、客室（間取りまで！）紹介。現地に着いて思ってたのと違うという事はよくあるが、これなら期待も裏切らない。勿論、値段は個室露天風呂故に高額。しかし見ているだけでもその高級感を味わえるのが、この本の魅力ともいえる。随所に渡って、まさに「かゆい所に手が届く」といった感じの情報量。
特に、大切な人との特別な日の為に是非購入して欲しい一冊。

この本を買って実際に宿泊してきました。
写真も豊富ですし、設備や食事、予約状況のほか間取りまで載っていてかなり宿の雰囲気がつかめるので気に入ってます。
部屋の防音度まで載っているのはすごいです（ほとんど聞こえない・かすかに聞こえる・聞こえないなど）。
カップルには絶対にお勧めな一冊です。

ただ、伊豆周辺の宿に集中しすぎているのが残念なので、★は４つにさせていただきました。

これらに紹介されている、旅館に何軒か宿泊しているが、一番よいところを紹介している。その他の部屋もよいが、一番を見てしまうと見劣りがするとこらがある。
後は、読書の想像力だ。
