実際にがん治療に携わっています。そんな自分の「患者に掴んでもらいたい最後の瞬間」がすごくリアルに描かれていたと思います。

ブラックジャックによろしくの５巻あたりからの「がん医療編」はこの結末だったから医者としても共感をする事ができました。その過程での抗がん剤に対する狂信的な不信感のあおり方などは、私を「ブラックジャックによろしく」から遠ざけていましたが。

日々患者とともに苦しんで治療にあたっている、そこから逃げ出したいと思っている医者すらもいる実際の医療現場が描かれていると思いました。すべての終末期の患者に彼女の生き方を求めるのは、すべてのがん治療医に彼の生き方を求めるのは絶対に不可能ですが。

すばらしい出来でした。
立ち読みですませようとしていたのに、あまりのすばらしさに、読み終わったにもかかわらず、買ってしまいました。

ブラックジャックは１~４巻まで購入して、その後は、すべて立ち読みですませていました。

でも、この８巻だけは、読んだ後にもかかわらず、購入しました。

立ち読みしながら、泣きそうになる漫画は、何冊あるかどうかくらいです。
それくらいすばらしい出来です。

ガン患者である「辻本さん」（主婦）が、自分の病名を子供に告知するシーンには、本当に感動しました。

２０世紀中には克服できるとまで言われていた「ガン」を患う患者は、年々増加し、昭和５６年から死因の第一位を占めています。（国立がんセンター）

他人事ではなく、身近な人や自分自身が「ガン」になる可能性があるのです。

もし、「ガン」になり、死を避けられない状態になったのであれば、この本に描かれているような死を望みます。

絶対泣けへんぞ！と思っていたのに、この巻の最後で泣いてしもたやんけ！セリフが心のあちこちに刺さります。悔しい・・・
