登場人物たちの掛け合いは上巻以上にはじけ，
いつもどおり，マニアックな小ネタもたくさん．
ちょっとエッチで好みがわかれるユーモアですが，
とにかく楽しいものをというのあればオススメです．

ただ．掛け合いにおされてか話の動き出しが遅く，
各作のメイン人物の場面が少ないように感じました．
そのせいか，笑えるのですが物語としてはやや弱めで．
また，主人公の少年の話がなかったのもとても残念です．

それにしても，これで完結とはあまりに惜しいです．
あのにぎやかな掛け合いはもっと読んでみたいですし，
主人公の話も含めて，ぜひともつづきを期待したいです．

化物語(上)に引き続き役者も揃ってきて、さらに面白い作品です。
特にエロ全開の駿河とツッコミ役の主人公が織り成す漫才が面白い。
戯言シリーズが西尾維新さんのカラーだと思っている人にとっては、
ちょっと受け入れ難いかもしれませんが、自分はコッチのほうが好きでした。

ちょっと空いた時間の暇つぶし程度に書いた作品らしいですが、
そんなことを感じさせない程に良くできています。
しかし、主人公が何故吸血鬼に襲われたのか、忍や羽川ブラックとの激戦について、
などエピソードが欠けている点がとても残念です。
できれば西尾維新さんにエピソードを新しく書いて欲しいです。

そうですか…以前のレビューを見る限りでは３年程前には主人公、阿良々木暦のイラストがなかったんですね？アニメを何話か見てからで正解だったかも。流石に主人公の顔がわからなくては感情移入もし辛かったでしょう。今現在では、ドラマCDで千石撫子ちゃんの声まで既出済みですのですぐにイメージが固まりました。時間軸として一番始めにくるであろう阿良々木暦が吸血鬼になった経緯も作品として出ているようなので、そこの説明が不十分だと思わなくとも済みますし、後の楽しみとしてとって置けます。

上巻と同じく主人公とヒロイン達とのやり取り(ボケ、ツッコミ)が非常に楽しめました。それと同時に人間のさまざまな感情に触れることが出来たと思います。『つばさキャット』を読んで羽川さんのことがとても好きになりました。千石ちゃんはアニメの声がめちゃくちゃ可愛いので読んでてかなり楽しかったデス。


西尾維新さんの作品はこの「化物語」が初めてですがこれを皮切りに次々と読んでいきたいと思います。興味のある方、アニメを観て面白いと感じた方、非常に価値ありな作品です。お奨め致します。
