　本書はアナリスト出身の著者によるもので、内容は２つ。一つは勤務先の倒産に対応する方法（本書の真ん中に記載）でもう一つは世界の経済状況とそれに対する日本の状況である。前者は陳腐であり、しかも（著者は明言していないが）読者の対象が大企業のホープから管理職と必ずしも皆に参考になる話ではない。
　私が本書を進める理由は冒頭の日本は世界のパラダイムシフトに乗り遅れているという指摘と本書後半の世界金融に対する著者の意見の慧眼である。良く「アメリカはものづくりをすて虚業に励み日本はモノづくりができるので大丈夫」と言われるがそれは世界基準では時代遅れである。それを指摘するものは少数であり、私としてはやや著者が舌足らずと感じたが共感した。世界金融については、著者によると今（2009．10月現在）は金余りでありバブルの前夜でありまたバブルの破裂が（しかも何度も！）くるという。2番底の懸念は一部で指摘されているがそこまで深く鋭い指摘は現時点では著者以外では一切聞いたことがない。非常に説得力のある話であり近未来の経済情勢を分析するにあたって是非投資家諸君は一読していただきたい。
