デザインを中心にフラッシュを使い、スクリプト部分はボタンアクションくらいしか出来なかった私にとって、本当にバイブルとなる一冊でした。自宅に届いたときは厚みに驚きましたが、全部のページがとても分かりやすく、今では得した気分です。ウェブでフラッシュを使うデザイナーすべての方におすすめしたい一冊です。これをすべて学び終わったときには、アクションスクリプトを理解していることと思います。頑張りましょう！

5.0 out of 5 stars ASを極めるためには必ず通らねばならない門, 2007/7/19
Actionscriptについて勉強しなければならない必要があったため、知人に進められて購入した。
既にこれが書かれた時点から、ずいぶんとFlashのバージョンも上がり、なぜいまさらこの本を読まねばならないか、なぜ他のFlasher達がみんなこの本を持っているのか、そして他の類似本は既に絶版なのになぜいまだにこの本が売られ続けているかが疑問だった。

しかし、その疑問は読み進めるうちに解けてしまった。
こんなに基礎の基礎から体系的にActionscriptを学習するための本は他にはないのではないか？
最新のActionscript3.0を学習する前に、しっかりと1.0時代の考え方を学習しても遅くはなく、またその方が理解が深まるはずである。この厚さにもかかわらず、するすると内容が頭に入っていく読みやすさにも驚きを覚える。

Actionscriptをしっかりと覚えたいのであれば、この本は避けて通れないと感じる。

「インタラクティブなムービーを作りたい」と思ってはいたものの、「オブジェクト指向」という言葉さえなかなか理解できなかった私は、ActionScriptを理解できずに困っていました。しかし本書に出会い、丁寧な解説を少しずつ読解し、難しくて行き詰まったときにはかわいくて愉快なイラストに励まされ、少しずつActionScriptを活用できるようになってきました。本書を英語の参考書で例えるならば、文法書/例文集/長文読解/辞書、を網羅している参考書だと思います。よりインタラクティブなFlashムービーを作りたい方に是非お勧めです。
